This policy applies when you use AiAir hardware, software, account setup pages, dashboards, sensors, automation tools, diagnostic features, energy insights, AI features, support channels, and related services.
AiAir is designed to learn how air moves through a home, understand environmental conditions, improve comfort, estimate energy usage, support HVAC diagnostics, and provide intelligent home management features. To do that, AiAir collects home, device, HVAC, environmental, usage, and account information as described below.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide directly, information generated by AiAir devices and software, and information collected automatically when you use our services.
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, login information, address, ZIP code, home name, account identifiers, preferences, support messages, and related account details.
- Home setup information: rooms, room names, HVAC zones, HVAC equipment details, brand, model, serial number, age, location, utility rate information, uploaded utility bills, photos, and setup choices.
- Device information: device IDs, claimed devices, room assignments, firmware version, hardware version, Wi-Fi signal information, IP address, connection status, diagnostic logs, calibration history, sensor status, command history, and device health information.
- Environmental and HVAC data: temperature, humidity, CO2, eCO2, TVOC, air quality readings, airflow, velocity, pressure or differential pressure readings, CFM estimates, vent position, HVAC runtime, cooling or heating activity, calibration results, equipment behavior, and related sensor data.
- Home behavior and usage signals: room activity patterns, occupancy-related signals, trends over time, air mixing behavior, comfort settings, scheduling patterns, automation responses, and system learning outputs.
- Images and documents: HVAC unit photos, nameplate photos, uploaded utility bills, documents used for setup, and information extracted from those files.
- App, web, and analytics data: pages viewed, buttons clicked, feature usage, browser type, device type, approximate location from IP address, session activity, error logs, and performance information.
- Communications: messages, support requests, feedback, survey responses, emails, SMS messages, and other communications with AiAir.
3. How We Use Information
We may use information for the following purposes:
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve AiAir products and services.
- Create and manage user accounts, homes, rooms, HVAC zones, and devices.
- Learn how air mixes in your home and improve room-level comfort control.
- Estimate room-level airflow, energy usage, cost, equipment runtime, and HVAC efficiency.
- Detect, diagnose, prevent, and alert you about HVAC problems, unsafe operating conditions, device issues, or system abnormalities.
- Calibrate sensors, vents, airflow models, and environmental models.
- Power AI, machine learning, automation, prediction, personalization, and home management features.
- Provide customer support, troubleshooting, updates, repairs, and service coordination.
- Develop new products, features, analytics, models, reports, and commercial offerings.
- Communicate with you about your account, devices, service updates, security alerts, product notices, and optional offers.
- Comply with law, enforce terms, prevent fraud, protect safety, and defend legal rights.
4. AI, Automation, and Model Learning
AiAir may use device, environmental, HVAC, room, usage, and account data to power automated decisions, predictions, diagnostics, insights, and AI-assisted features. These features may estimate occupancy patterns, airflow behavior, comfort trends, energy use, HVAC performance, room conditioning time, and other home management signals.
We may use aggregated, de-identified, pseudonymized, or account-linked data to improve models, test features, validate diagnostics, train or evaluate algorithms, and improve future products. Where required by law, we will provide applicable notices, choices, or consent options.
5. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information to the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers: cloud hosting providers, database providers, authentication providers, analytics providers, communications providers, security vendors, AI and data processing vendors, and technical support providers.
- HVAC and home service partners: installers, technicians, contractors, or service partners when needed to support setup, diagnostics, repair, maintenance, warranty, or services you request.
- Business and product partners: companies that help provide, improve, integrate, market, analyze, or commercialize AiAir products or services.

If you upload utility bills, HVAC photos, nameplate images, or related documents, we may store those files, extract information from them, use them to complete setup fields, verify equipment specifications, estimate costs, improve diagnostics, and support your account. These files may contain personal information, service addresses, account numbers, rate plans, equipment identifiers, and other details. You should upload only files you have the right to provide.
8. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain your account, operate devices, support safety and diagnostics, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, improve products, and maintain business records. Retention periods may vary by data type, such as raw telemetry, summaries, calibration data, account records, uploaded files, support records, logs, and model-derived insights.
We may retain aggregated, de-identified, pseudonymized, backup, archival, or legally required information for longer periods where permitted by law.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. These may include access controls, encryption in transit, cloud security controls, logging, authentication, monitoring, and internal procedures. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

- Change home, room, device, utility, and HVAC setup information.

13. Children
AiAir services are intended for adults and household account holders. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us without appropriate permission, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
14. Third-Party Services
AiAir may link to or integrate with third-party products, services, platforms, apps, websites, cloud services, AI tools, analytics tools, payment services, communications providers, or HVAC service providers. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.

AiAir is operated from the United States. If you use the service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where we or our service providers operate. Data protection laws may differ from those in your location.
